FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: perforator or hummer comprises housing, drive made of motor and reduction gear, guiding cylinder mounted in the housing, converting mechanism which converts rotation of the drive into reciprocation of the piston mounted in the guiding cylinder together with striker separated from the piston with air cushion, and spindle fixed in radial and axial directions with respect to the guiding cylinder with key members. The key members are arranged in both radial openings in the spindle and through openings in the guiding cylinder. The spindle clamps working tool separated from the striker with intermediate member which transmits shock loading from the striker to the working tool. In addition, the perforator or hummer has a mechanism for locking the stud members in radial openings of the spindle and through openings of the guiding cylinder.
