FIELD: methods for processing of mechanical rubber goods, in particular, processing of waste tires (worn-out, damaged) of transport facilities, applicable in salvaging of tires, large-sized inclusive, with a fabric cord and manufacture of members of ground-rope disks of the trawl lower pick-up. SUBSTANCE: the end and working surfaces of the tire are separated, marking-out is accomplished with subsequent separation of the tire-surfaces into blanks, the latters are processed. Separation of the end and working surfaces of tires and separation of the latters into blanks is accomplished by application of bending moments to the above surfaces in the points of cutting. At processing of the blanks a central hole is made in each blank. The blanks are transformed into disks with a diameter equal to the length of the lesser side of the blank. At least one additional hole is made in the disks. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of salvaging of tires of any quality, enhanced strength and durability of the produced blanks. 2 cl, 10 dwg
