FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: line designed for use by manufacturers of fuel elements for VVER-1000 and VVER-440 reactors is provided, in addition, with at least three tilted platforms; inspection transducers are mounted on each platform in front cutters parallel to axis of piece-by-piece cutters for feeding fuel elements and under fuel element conveying facilities after each inspection facility in parallel with conveying facility axis; mounted between each pair of inspection transducers for start and finish of fuel element of reactor VVER-1000 are intermediate fuel-element start inspection transducers for reactor VVER- 440 at distance from inspection transducer to start of fuel element equal to difference in lengths of fuel elements of reactors VVER-1000 and VVER-440; both fuel-element start inspection facilities 0f VVER-1000 and VVER-440 reactors are provided with power switches. Head tilted platform is of inverted-V form in height with upper platform tilted from fuel-element output mechanism and lower one inclined to conveying facility (rolling conveyer); tilted platform for inspecting and rejecting fuel elements has same curvature and diameter as head platform; final tilted platform mounts acceptance mechanism for inspected fuel elements.
