FIELD: devices for hydromechanical breakage of rocks; applicable in actuating members of mining machines. SUBSTANCE: device includes cutting tool and jet-forming nozzles for supply of water jets onto rock mass to be broken in direction of cutting. Nozzles are rigidly secured to cutter sides and directed to side of point of intersection of main cutting edge with side cutting edges of cutter. Longitudinal axes of nozzles are away from said points at distance equaling half of diameter of nozzles. EFFECT: reduced energy input in process of hydromechanical breakage of rocks. 5 dwg
