FIELD: preparation of hydrocarbon gases for reception by compressor stations or gas- distributing stations. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes transportation of hydrocarbon gas via pipe line, separation of gas in separator, discharge of liquid and delivery of gas to technological object and subsequent delivery of gas to consumer. During pipe line transportation of hydrocarbon gas, amount of liquid is mounted by means of sensor and as soon volume of liquid exceeds accumulating volume of separator, signal for discontinuation of gas delivery is furnished time from moment of recording appearance of liquid in pipe line till complete discontinuation of gas delivery to technological object is lesser than time required for passage of this volume of liquid from point of monitoring to separator; as soon as level of liquid in separator drops to preset magnitude, delivery of gas is started anew.
