FIELD: pressure vessels. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, standard vessel is closed by elastic stopper and metal cap which is than upset and rolled on by its lower edge on vessel neck after which pressure in vessel is raised to 0preset value by connecting space of vessel through preliminarily formed branch pipe or hole with high-pressure gas source. Vessel is kept under this pressure during fixed period of time after which pressure is relieved. When keeping the vessel under pressure, additional delivery of gas into standard vessel is provided after which vessel is checked for leakage at elevated temperature. Quality of sealing at elevated temperature is checked by placing the vessel into higher pressure zone, and additional delivery of gas into vessel is provided by controllable flow of gas in preliminarily formed branch pipe.
