FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering ulcer surface with transparent sterile stencil plate as grid having equal-sized square cells. Ulcer segments are sequentially exposed to radiation in the same mode within the boundaries of every following square of the stencil. The light guide is placed in perpendicular to the irradiated surface in the projection of the center of the square at a distance enabling the laser beam spot to touch square angle apices. Before making irradiation, light guide end is introduced into sterile pyramid cavity through an opening in its apex. The pyramid base is square opening of the same size with stencil cell. Its internal surfaces are mirrors. Radiation is applied after the pyramid base is exactly superimposed with the next stencil square. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of radiation treatment. 2 dwg
