FIELD: sorting of documents. SUBSTANCE: the electronic bank automatic machine has a device for feed of bank notes for proper orientation and quick identification of bank notes placed in it. Standard ATM for currency recycling suppose the availability of special characteristics contained in securities for their identification. Respectively, the identified securities, for example, the US bank notes not possessing such special characteristics, create difficulties for quick identification, especially of shabby bank notes. This invention overcomes these shortcomings using a feed mechanism for bank notes, which can reliably separate and orient in the proper direction the bank notes from the stacks of bank notes placed in the automatic machine. The feed mechanism has a pan (74) for moving the stack to an inclined wall (170) for sloping of the stack edges, reversible sorting mechanism (78), rollers for removal of the upper sheet (176,178) for imparting a wavy configuration to the bank notes, and a restrictor of reverse motion for removal of the upper sheet (166).
