FIELD: aircraft engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine is started and operates as standard engine with initial designed section of nozzle assembly and pressure behind compressor turbine until steam supply system is accumulated and its designed pressure in obtained. When designed steam pressure in built is system additional passage cross-section of nozzle assembly is opened and steam delivery is provided and simultaneously shutter arranged between turbines of compressor and electric generator is closed. This shutter lets part combustion products come out into atmosphere in process of engine starting and steam accumulating. To maintain constant speed of engine, constant ratio of air and steam rates should be provided by keeping ratio of fuel and steam consumption at one level. Densities of steam and fuel should be maintained at constant level to simplify control system and provide possibility of orientation on one parameter only which is pressure drop in narrow section of fuel pipeline. In this case consumption of steam will be proportional to square root of pressure drop in narrow section of fuel pipeline. Densities of fuel and steam are maintained constant owing to small difference between maximum and minimum values of pressure in supply system and temperature is maintained constant owing to heating of fuel by steam whose temperature is maintained constant owing to stable temperature at end of combustion process at constant speed of engine irrespective of atmospheric conditions. EFFECT: improved reliability of starting and maintaining engine operation. 3 cl, 1 dwg
