SUBSTANCE: locomotive gas-turbine power plant incorporates a gas-turbine engine with a compressor, a combustion chamber and a turbine coupled by a gas duct with a free turbine. A regenerative heat exchanger is arranged behind the turbine in exhaust device with its inlet connected, via a water pump, to water tank. The said heat exchanger outlet communicates, via the air cooling heat exchanger, steam turbine and heat exchanger-condenser, with the water tank. An additional combustion chamber is arranged in the exhaust device before the regenerative heat exchanger connected to the system of fuel feed by additional fuel feed line incorporating a fuel flow rate control device. A temperature pickup is fitted behind the aforesaid heat exchanger.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of the power plant.
