FIELD: prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields in the zones of permafrost rocks. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in high-speed analysis of seismographic records of the common-depth point in horizons and construction of the heavy-bedded depth-velocity profile of the medium. The upper part of the section is divided into two layers: the zero, proper upper part of the section with a constant thickness, and the first one, from the zero layer to the reference horizon. Standard values of interval velocities are produced from the velocities of the first layer by smoothing. Iterative trass selection of the values of velocities in the zero layer is conducted up to the coincidence of the interval velocity in the first layer with the standard interval velocity at a constant velocity of the common-depth point of the first and subsequent layers. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of structural constructions and prevented distortions of the wave field. 7 dwg
