FIELD: high-speed recording, reproduction, and storage of large body of information. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for phase-difference data presentation in interference pit- lattice and for high-speed scanning of light beams. It has phase-difference modulator whose output is connected to power input of acoustooptical modulator, and acoustooptical scanner is installed. The latter has tracing deflector and traveling-lens deflector. Power inputs of deflectors are connected to linearly frequency-modulated generators. The latter are started through trigger-pulse delay circuits. Control circuit of linearly frequency-modulated tracing generators is connected to output of frequency-shift unit and traveling-lens generator has adjustable delay circuit which provides for optoelectronic tracing of data track. Control inputs of delay circuit and frequency-shift unit are interconnected. EFFECT: enhanced recording and reproducing speed, optical efficiency, and raster uniformity implemented in traveling-lens mode of operation. 3 dwg
