FIELD: manufacture of electrical-machine rotor and stator stacks. SUBSTANCE: stampings are made by means of five-position, two-pass die at its sequentially varying positions. Rotor slots, rotor central bore, and holes for guide pins in the form of spring-loaded pointed pins are stamped at first position simultaneously in two passes. More precise positioning of strip relative to parts being stamped is effected at second position where rotor stampings are trimmed on their outlines in two passes simultaneously. Then rotor stacks are assembled by appropriate positioning of stampings, their compression, and bracing the stacks. After that rotor winding is injected in aluminum so that end rings of squirrel cage are formed, and treated shaft is press-fitted into central bore of stack. Then outer surface of rotor stack is machined by round hard-alloy cutting tool that has concave working surface with front and back angles of cutting edge. EFFECT: enhanced output and reduced metal input. 7 cl, 5 dwg
