FIELD: clerical aids, in particular, auxiliary aids in printing work, used for application of ink onto the ink-pad at marking of various objects. SUBSTANCE: the ink-pad has blocks of a two-layer ink carrier combined on a common backing impermeable for ink, in which the upper layer is low-porous, and the lower one is high-porous, the ends of each block of the ink carrier are fused throughout the entire height of the high-porous lower layer, and separate blocks of the ink carrier are separated from each other by a double groove cut throughout the entire thickness of the ink carrier up to the backing, and the high-porous lower layer of the backing, and the high-porous lower layer of the ink carrier is made of woven or unwoven thermoplastic material. The method for manufacture of ink-pad for multicoloured printing consists in the fact that the two-layer ink carrier is combined with the backing that is impermeable for ink, and then separate blocks are formed by grooving of a double groove by a laser beam throughout the entire thickness of the two-layer ink carrier up to the backing to the preset contours of the blocks with a subsequent filling of the blocks with inks.
