FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled machines, in particular , to load-bearing members - frames of self- propelled machines of higher manoeuvrability assembled of several parts. It can be used in tractors designed for cultivation of row crops at accurate movement in row spacings. Proposed self-propelled machine has frame consisting of three parts connected in tandem for turning of one part relative to the other, and part turning control mechanism. Front part of frame is coupled with front axle, and rear part, with rear axle of machine. Middle part of frame is connected with front and rear parts by two hinge joints located along machine longitudinal axis. One hinge joint has vertical and horizontal axles, and the other, has vertical axle. Lengths of frame parts are related as follows: where l1 is length of frame front part; l2 is length of frame middle part; α is angle of turning of frame front part around vertical axle of adjacent joint, measured relative to machine longitudinal axis; β is angle of turning of frame middle part around vertical axle of joint adjacent to frame rear part, measured relative to machine longitudinal axis.
