FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines; ignition systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed ignition system has series resistor, ignition coil and spark plugs, transistor switch and distributor with magnetoelectric pickup, three series resistors, capacitor and potentiometer whose sliding contact is coupled with axle of carburetor throttle valve. Two series-connected resistors and potentiometer form one arm of bridge, series connected capacitor and third resistor form second arm of bridge, both arms of bridge being connected between pulse pickup winding terminals. Input of transistor switch is connected in bridge diagonally opposite pair of junctions between middle point of connection of third resistor and capacitor and middle point connected with body between first resistor and two extreme terminals of potentiometer. Sliding contact of potentiometer is connected with other terminal of second resistor. EFFECT: improved accuracy of control of ignition advance angle, simplified design of ignition distributor. 2 cl, 2 dwg
