FIELD: flexible hoses. SUBSTANCE: armored flexible hose has, at least, one internal tubular layer from plastic or rubber, layer of reinforcing braid of knitted type with chain weave containing rows and columns, in essence, of parallel loops with respective density of loops per unit of length (Nm, Nr) in longitudinal direction, and external layer placed on layer of reinforcing braid for its protection. Layer of reinforcing braid is made in form of single tubular layer. Rows of loops and loop columns are located, in essence, over spiral lines with respective spacing (Pm,Pr) and at corresponding mutually opposite angles (α,β) relative to longitudinal axis (Y). Longitudinal spacing (Pr) of loop columns in essence is proportional to square of outer diameter (⊘_o) of internal layer. Density of loop columns per unit of length (Nr) is, in essence, in direct proportion to outer diameter (⊘_o) of said internal layer. As a result, twisting caused in knitted material is excluded without reduction of flexibility and resistance to hose rupture under effect of pressure. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 3 dwg
