FIELD: electrical engineering; cable engineering. SUBSTANCE: spiral cable that may be used as communication facility for moving parts of motor transport systems such as road trains, trailers, and the like has current conductors placed in flexible sheath and arranged for relative displacement and covered with solid lubricant chosen of group incorporating hexagonal boron nitride and talc. Amount of lubricant per meter of cable ranges between 10 and 100 g and boron- nitride-to-talc mass ratio is 10:1. Sheath has beads on straight ends of cable that are engageable with those provided on sleeve additionally covering flexible sheath and located in near-end region of the latter. EFFECT: reduced conductor-to-conductor friction, improved insulating properties of conductors under vibrations. 7 cl, 3 dwg, 2 tbl
