FIELD: electrical engineering; three-speed motors. SUBSTANCE: three-phase 14/10/8- pole-changing winding has 24 coil groups 1 through 24 each of whose phases incorporates eight coil groups numbered according to following row: 8i - 7, 8i - 5, 8i, 8i + 2, 8i + 5, 8i + 7, 8i + 12, 8i + 14, where finishing lead of coil group 8i - 7 is connected to that of coil group 8i - 5; finishing lead of group 8i, to that of group 8i + 2; starting lead of group 8i + 5 is connected to that of group 8i + 7; starting lead of 8i + 12, to that of 8i + 14; starting lead of 8i - 5, to finishing lead of 8i + 5; starting lead of 8i + 2, to finishing lead of 8i + 12. Proposed single-phase winding is used for stators whose slot number is a multiple of 48k, where k = 1, 2, 3; winding coil groups are spaced apart at pitch equal to closest integer odd number of coil group y = 48k/8; for eight-pole operation starting leads should be taken from finish of coil group 8i + 12, where i is number of respective phase. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, reduced consumption of insulating materials, increased space factor of slot accommodating copper winding. 7 dwg
