SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes flushing, disintegration, gravitational concentration in deep and shallow sluice boxes, rinsing concentrate off entrapping surface, separate rinsing along length of shallow sluice box and final concentration to heavy concentrate; deep sluice box is subjected to additional rinsing; separate rinsing of head and tail sections of sluice boxes is effected at the following ratio: 1:3 to 1: 4 for deep filling and 1:6 to 1:12 for shallow filling.
