FIELD: preparation of expecially pure molybdenum and bismuth compounds from various stocks. SUBSTANCE: method comprises leaching molybdenum and bismuth with chloride solutions, sorbing bismuth on anionite and desorbing bismuth. Prior to sorption of bismuth, sorption of molybdenum and other heavy metals is carried out on phosphate cationite at pH of 0.0-0.5, V solution to V cationite phase ratios of 1:4-1:10 for 4-8 hours followed by selective desorption of molybdenum to prepare purified molybdenum-containing solution and isolation of highly pure molybdenum and bismuth compounds from the resulting compounts.
