FIELD: mechanical engineering; high-speed vehicle drives. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-piston engine has housing with epitrochoidal bore, rotor installed eccentrically relative to engine axis in bore and provided with toothed rim mechanically coupled with fixed gear. Rotor is provided with additional toothed rim meshing mechanically through additional planet pinion with toothed rim secured on engine shaft. Invention provides increase of efficiency of rotary-piston engine owing to summing up kinematic energy of rotation of rotor around engine axis and kinematic energy of rotation of rotor around its own axis on engine output shaft.
