SUBSTANCE: engine has stator 1 with three-member working space made in the form of equilateral triangle with rounded off angles; eccentric shaft 2 coaxial with stator; elliptic rotor-piston 3 hinge-mounted on eccentric of shaft 2, forming three working chambers 5, 6 of variable volume together with stator and divided by spring-loaded plate sealing members 8; intake manifold 14 and exhaust manifold 15 in side walls of stator 16, 17; intake and exhaust ports 20 connected with manifolds, and channels 18, 19 in rotor-piston 20. It has also synchronizing gear mechanism 11 providing mechanical coupling of rotor-piston 3 and shaft 2 made in the form of closed planetary gear train, gear ratio i=2.
