FIELD: mechanical engineering; cooling of compressed gases. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of cooling of compressed air or gas in power or compressor plant provided with internal combustion engine and heat exchanger comes to cooling of air or gas heated in engine proper in process of compression or in separate compressor included in plant by atmospheric air in heat exchanger. Flow of atmospheric air through cooling circuit of heat exchanger is provided by ejector. Cooling air is fed to ejectable gas nozzle after passing through heat exchanger, and exhaust gases of engine are fed into ejecting gas nozzle. Compressor plant has gas- turbine type internal combustion engine consisting of compressor, combustion chamber and turbine, and also heat exchanger in which compressed air taken from engine compressor for delivery to user is cooled by atmospheric air. Ejectable gas nozzle of ejector is connected to output of cooling circuit of heat exchanger whose ejecting gas nozzle is connected to output of engine turbine. Invention makes it possible to simplify system providing delivery of atmospheric air into cooling circuit of plant heat exchanger.
