FIELD: test of structure exposed to action of salt fog. SUBSTANCE: salt fog chamber has working space housing fog generator with piezoelement, reflector, pipe-line to feed salt solution, parallelogram, hemispheric transparent heat-insulated cover, control and signaling unit, temperature-sensitive element, discharge pipe-line, main heating circuit, accelerated heating circuit and heat- insulating element. Reflector is anchored on fog generator with piezoelement and pipe- line to feed salt solution linked to it. Fog generator proper is put on parallelogram and under center of transparent hemispheric heat-insulated cover. Main heating circuit is installed on bottom of working volume of chamber. Heat-insulating element with accelerated heating circuit located under it surrounds entire surface of working space which houses temperature-sensitive element coupled to control and signalling unit to which main heating circuit, accelerated heating circuit and fog generator with piezoelement are connected. Discharge pipe-line is linked to bottom of working space. EFFECT: enhanced stability of testing conditions thanks to optimization of air-heat flows in working space of chamber. 1 dwg
