FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly end face sealings of revolution shafts of the pressure sets which transfer liquid or gaseous medium. SUBSTANCE: end face sealing contains rotatable and fixed blocks. At least one of the blocks is movable in axial direction and connected to the housing or the shaft through compression springs and carrier devices. The movable block and the housing are spaced with an intermediate ring whose openings and slots are provided with four carrier devices which are placed in one horizontal plane in pairs in the mutually perpendicular axial cross-sections on the internal and external cylindrical surfaces of the intermediate ring. The compression springs damp end faces of the intermediate ring. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and service life of the end face sealing due the suppressing wear of the parts. 2 dwg
