FIELD: medical surgical instruments, applicable in orthopaedic practice, in particular, in operation of resection arthroplasty of the foot front section carried out at diseases accompanied by injury of metatarsal - phalanx joints. SUBSTANCE: the device has a body with a sickle-shaped catch and a guillotine movable knife. The sickle-shaped catch is adapted in shape and dimension to the necks of the metatarsal bones and made for protection of the tendon of the benders and unbenders of toes. The end of the sickle-shaped catch is sharpened and forms a cutting edge for separation of the neck of the metatarsal bones without employment of a rotator and other instruments.
