FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stroke internal combustion engine has crankcase, cylinder, crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, cylinder head, exhaust valve, combustion chamber in cylinder head communicating with cylinder working space through bypass hole. Combustion chamber has bypass and intake valve. Delivery chamber is connected with combustion chamber by intake hole and with rotor - by air (working mixture) charger. Compression pressure pickup is installed in combustion chamber. Rotor - charge builds preset compression pressure in delivery chamber and sets crankshaft into operation by signal from pressure pickup. At exhaust stroke, bypass valve is closed, intake and exhaust valve are open, and when piston approaches top dead center, simultaneously with closing of exhaust and intake valves, bypass valve opens. With piston in top dead center, exhaust valve and intake valve are closed, bypass valve is open, fuel is injected into combustion chamber, spark is supplied and working stroke takes place. With piston in bottom dead center, bypass valve is closed, intake valve and exhaust valve are open. Output power of engine is adjusted by changing volume of combustion chamber by means of piston. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and mass of engine, increased efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
