FIELD: cryogenic engineering; temperature tests of photoelectric and optical properties of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed cryostat includes Dewar flask, refrigerant line with holes and the following components located in thermal contact: heat-insulated chamber with wire heat-insulated chamber with wire heater thermosensor and control unit. During operation, heater and object under test are located on opposite sides of refrigerant line coaxially relative to hole. Infra-red radiation signal of wire heater is used as optical signal. Wire heater can withstand considerable pulse currents. To increase exposure time of specimen without considerable change in its temperature due to transfer of heat from heater to specimen, gasket with hole equal to that in refrigerant line is laid coaxially between refrigerant line and heater. EFFECT: simplified construction; low cost; extended functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
