FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic devices intended for physical research. Cryostat for carrying out physical experiments has evacuated housing (1), inside which there is central cylindrical section (2), inside which end part (3) of pipeline (4) for supplying cryogenic liquid from Dewar vessel (22) enters. On the end part of the cylindrical section there is annular sample holder (5) equipped with a clamping device, an electric heater and a temperature sensor. Openings are made in the housing of the section opposite the sample, into which windows are transparent for radiation; initial part (6) of pipeline (7) for withdrawing coolant vapours from the cryostat also enters the section. Between the cryostat housing and the Dewar vessel there is evacuated overflow device (8) through which a cryogenic liquid supply pipeline and a vapour discharge pipeline pass. End part of the coolant discharge pipeline opens into the atmosphere or is connected to the coolant liquefaction plant, and inlet part (9) of the coolant supply pipeline enters the Dewar vessel.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture and operation of the device.
