FIELD: fiber optics. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technology of manufacture of demountable connectors of fiber-optical cables used in fiber-optical communication systems for transmission of optical information. Technical result of invention consists in provision for high precision ( micron fractions ) of manufacture of microholes with zero error of their centering which leads to low optical losses ( 0.15-0.3 dB ) in joints of connected light guides, including those with semiconductor sources or receivers of optical radiation. Connectors in agreement with invention are manufactured in five versions which allow traditional cable, combined optoelectric cables carrying fiber-optical light guides and electric wire, weight-carrying cables including fiber-optical light guides and reinforcing ( power ) elements, cable with single-cell sources or receivers of optical radiation and cables with multi-element matrix source or receiver of optical radiation to be linked. There are manufactured connector body, four inserts, two lugs to carry and fix cables. Technological holes are made in inserts. In two middle inserts assembled in body slit is made out of technological hole and microhole with starting cone to carry bare ends of light guides. Then second structure " slit-microhole " with constant pitch in direction perpendicular to radial one in forward and backward directions is made from these microholes. Third and fourth structures " slit-microhole "perpendicular to third structure are made in radial direction in two outer inserts also assembled in body for location of these light guides with sheath.
