SUBSTANCE: described is austenitic stainless steel comprising, wt.%: carbon, 0.01-0.06; silicon, 0.1-0.8; manganese, 0.5-2.0; chromium, 16.0-19.0; nickel; 8.0-10.5; nitrogen, 0.05-0.25; boron, 0.001-0.005; calcium, 0.01-0.10; cerium, 0.001-0.050; sulfur, equal or higher than 0.030; phosphorus, equal or higher than 0.045; iron and inevitable impurities, the balance, ratios components is as follows: (Cr + 1,2 Si)/[2Mn + 2,5(Ni - 0,5)+50(C+N)] =0,40 - 0.70 and ΣB + Ca + Ce ≅0,12 product from claimed steel is manufactured in the form of hot-rolled sheets of 3.0-8.0 mm in thickness or in the form of cold-rolled sheets of 0.5-3.0 mm in thickness or in the form of rods of 4-8 mm in diameter.
