FIELD: protection of metals from acid corrosion using inhibitors. SUBSTANCE: method comprises adding inhibitor to acid. Inhibitor comprises, wt. %: aldehyde-amine condensation product which is n- bromobenzalsulfate thiazole, 11.9-13.7; nickel iodide, 16.4-27.3; 2,6- dinitro-4-N,N-triisopropyl aniline, 18.1-23.9; and urotropin, 40.9- 47.0, claimed inhibitor effectively retards corrosion of steel and titanium and suppresses considerably hydrogen absorption. Inhibitor is used for pickling steel and titanium and acid cleaning of equipment. EFFECT: improved properties of the inhibitor. 2 ex, 2 tbl
