FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inertia-oil gas cleaners designed for automotive or stationary internal combustion piston engines. According to said invention, oil bath of air cleaner is furnished with partially encumbering elements mounted on wall of oil bath. Said elements are made, for instance, in the form of rings of capron fiber (capron maze) or open-pore large cellular plastic. Volume accommodating encumbering elements is 0,5-1.5 of volume of oil filled in oil bath. Description of encumbering elements in the form of flat or zigzag plates or rods secured on wall of bath is provided. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of air cleaner. 5 cl, 6 dwg
