FIELD: water-and-coal fuel in the form of suspension. SUBSTANCE: suspension is prepared by mixing solid pulverized fuel, mainly, low-caloric coal with water for supply of said suspension to burner units at thermal power stations, metallurgy, boiler units and other heat-generating systems working on liquid fuel. Fuel suspension is water-and-coal fuel in the form of suspension of pulverized coal in water. It contains organic plasticizer at granulometric sizes from 0.005 to 0.5 mcm including the following components, mas.%: coal (up to 200 mcm), 60-65; organic plasticizer, 5-15; water, the balance. Solid domestic and/or industrial wastes are used as an organic plasticizer. EFFECT: enhanced mobility of fuel suspension at considerable reduction of fraction of water at increased caloric value of fuel; possibility of utilization of solid organic domestic and industrial wastes enhancing elocological safety. 2 cl, 1 dwg
