FIELD: chromatography. SUBSTANCE: weighed sample of test material is placed in chromatographic column and the latter is purged with gas carrier, into flow of which a dose of air is introduced. At the outlet, air is separated into oxygen and nitrogen. When examining results, time of air oxygen sorption, areas of oxygen and nitrogen peaks, and also inlet and outlet pressures in chromatographic column are measured. Oxygen sorption rate constant is then determined by math formula. EFFECT: improved determination accuracy owing to approaching examination to normal conditions air oxygen-material interaction. _
