FIELD: transport engineering; systems for warning participants of traffic about vehicle braking at high density of traffic flow. SUBSTANCE: intensity of warning braking signal is changed depending on degree of braking by means of stop lights on leading vehicle. Stop lights are arranged in casing of signal light equipped with common reflector and lens. Stop lights are switched on by contacts placed between movable and fixed elements of stop light in parallel with brake pedal contacts. Intensity of warning braking signal is changed by changing position of lights relative to focal area of reflector and/or lens under action of inertia forces caused by vehicle braking. Part of lights is made with radiation in infra-red spectrum which is received by vehicle following the leading vehicle, and light and sound signals are energized by infra-red radiation warning other vehicle drivers of braking of leading one.
