FIELD: radio engineering; receiving devices of base and mobile communication stations using code channel division. SUBSTANCE: method depends on principle of iterative quasi-coherent reception algorithm. This principle implies iterative process of estimating information characters, using estimates obtained to improve estimation of complex signal amplitude at interval of information signals due to using entire available energy of signal in receive interval incorporated in data and pilot characters, and repeatedly estimating information signals. Iterations are made until estimates of information signals stop varying. Efficiency of iterative algorithm primarily understood as quality of final estimates of information characters depends on quality of primary estimates and on algorithm for shaping improved estimate of complex signal amplitude. Improvement of estimates of complex signal amplitude may be based on linear polynomial regression or filtering by means of low-frequency filter with rectangular amplitude-frequency response. To this end use may be also made of other families of parametric functions.
