FIELD: oil pollution removal. SUBSTANCE: oil spots are localized by constructing shields containing adsorbent in textile shell, into which adsorbent is placed, together or separately, with filler and/or other additives in the form of hardening polymer foam, initial foam-forming composition containing, wt %: urea-formaldehyde resin 25-50, surfactant 1-5, acidic hardening catalyst 1-10, and water to 100. In particular, water- proofed perlite sand cab be utilized as adsorbent and shell is made from netted textile with meshes 0.1-0.8 mm. Shields are put on seashore periodically covered by surf waves and fixed, for example by means of anchors and ropes. Invention provides several options for additives to foam-forming composition and surfactant contained therein.
