FIELD: construction and operation of elevators with automatic doors. SUBSTANCE: device has reduction unit with electric drive, carrier, connecting rod, limiters for holding connecting rod at extreme reversing points, limit switches for turning off the drive, and microswitch for disconnecting the drive in case it meets obstacle on the way of leaf movement. Connecting rod is provided with fork and bracket on respective ends; bracket is hinged to staple of elevator-cage door leaf; fork mounts spring-loaded slider hinged to carrier by means of anchor pin and carrying lever contacting mentioned microswitch; carrier is fixed on bush fitted onto reduction unit shaft for displacement along this shaft and over its circumference; bush has thread on its end to allow for movement of ring stop provided with holes for key and lock screw, and ledge that mounts spring whose other end is supported by stop; mentioned stop is fitted onto reduction unit shaft for slipping; ring held in position by means of bolt is joined to reduction unit shaft with aid of spline joint and has conical surface to transmit rotary motion from this ring to mentioned bush. Connecting rod is provided with limiter to prevent leaf movement in closed position. Mentioned lever has scale; connecting rod body has cut to control clearance between lever arm and microswitch button. Carrier may be made in the form of plate provided with hole to receive bush and may have double-slope hill provided on plate surface and fixed or made in the form of lug for contacting limit switches. The latter are installed on brackets for adjusting their position relative to positions of double-slope hill of carrier. EFFECT: improved reliability. 5 cl, 7 dwg
