FIELD: elevator engineering.
SUBSTANCE: elevator cabin has a cylindrical shape and contains a wall and a doorway with an arcuate door. The wall and the door are fixed on a frame with side posts, the ends of which are fixed on the upper and lower rings, which serve as door guides. Two hangers are fixed at the top of the door. One end of the suspension is attached to the outer surface of the door, and the other end protrudes above the upper ring of the cab frame. Bearing brackets are fixed on the inner surface of the hangers, supported through rollers on the upper ring of the frame. The rollers move along the upper ring of the frame, at a distance from which there is an arcuate toothed rail connected with the bearing brackets with the possibility of mutual movement. The rail is oriented along the inner surface of the upper ring. In the upper part of the cabin, a rotating gear wheel is installed, fixed relative to the upper ring of the frame. The gear wheel interacts with the toothed rail through a gear train. The gear shaft is rotated by the motor. The rail is placed between the gear wheel and the guide roller, designed to prevent the rail from moving in the direction from the gear wheel.
