FIELD: reproduction of cycloid-type transcendental curves, in particular, sinusoids, can find application in various spheres. SUBSTANCE: the device has a platform, guide, wheel, rack and two rods differing in length by two times. The larger rod is made with a writing assembly on one end, and the rack is positioned on the platform in parallel with the guide and permanently connected to the wheel for its rolling on it without any slip. The smaller rod with one of its ends is hinge-joined to the middle of the larger rod, and the wheel is rigidly connected to the smaller rod so that the rod end sliding on the guide would be positioned in the center of the wheel. With its other end the larger rod is installed on the guide for movement along it. EFFECT: expanded store of simple, convenient, accurate and quickly re-adjustable devices for reproduction of sinusoid at a minimum quantity of links. 1 dwg
