FIELD: mechanical engineering; aircraft and engine manufacture and medicine for manufacture of semifinished items through deformation and heat treatment accompanied by change in physico- mechanical properties of metals. SUBSTANCE: method consists in subjecting the blank to plastic deformation in crossing vertical and horizontal channels at temperature reduced from 500 C to 250 C at accumulated logarithmic degree of deformation of e ≥ 4, followed by thermomechanical treatment in turn with cold deformation at degree of 30 to 90 % and intermediate and final annealing within temperature range of 250 and 500 C for 0.5 - 2 hours. EFFECT: improved mechanical properties of material through enhanced strength and fatigue characteristics at retained ductility; possibility of forming fine-grained thermally stable structure at size of grains not exceeding 0.1 mkm; enhanced tensile and fatigue strength. 1 ex
