HARNESS AND JACQUARD LOOM WITH HARNESS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: textile machine manufacture, particularly, manufacture of loom harnesses. SUBSTANCE: harness has upper and lower bottom boards 3, 5 having through holes 5,6, spaced at some interval; many harness threads 2 passing for each repeat together through through-holes 4 of upper bottom board 3 and separately through holes 6 of lower bottom board 5; many swivels 1 for connection of harness threads with jacquard mechanism and many pulling members with dependent motion and faces correspondingly connected with harness threads. In this case, in direction A of weft, one row of harness threads in upper bottom board is arranged in identical sequence in repeats of lower bottom board. Lengths of harness threads passing through one through hole 4 of upper board 3 are crossed at least by one length of threads passing through neighboring through hole of upper bottom board. Said harness allows increase of loom operating rate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 9 dwg
