FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: loom has reed and weft thread guide, which are connected for pivoting between picking position and beating up position, and immovable weft picking device with at least one blowing nozzle for picking weft thread into guiding channel, thread clamp and scissors. Thread clamp is connected with reed for clamping picked weft thread from picking to beating up position. Scissors are positioned behind thread clamp in the direction of movement of beating reed for cutting off clamped thread. Construction of loom allows up to sixteen weft threads of different type and color to be used. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and wider operational capabilities. 13 cl, 12 dwg
