FIELD: power engineering, applicable for ignition of gaseous combustibles. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in generation of acoustic oscillations, heating of the part of active flow of the component, separation of it into the cold and heated components and mixing with the second gaseous component heated and separated into the cold and heated components, the latter the most heated of which is fed to a limited zone for mixing with the most heated component of the first component. The gas-dynamic igniter has precombustion chamber 1 with exhaust nozzle 2, ducts of fuel component 1 with exhaust nozzle 2, ducts of fuel component feed to the precombustion chamber, resonators 3 and 4, whose bottoms are positioned in the precombustion chamber. Nozzles 5 and 6 for feed of components are positioned opposite the open ends of the resonators and in alignment with them. Resonators 3 and 4 are also positioned coaxially, and their bottoms form a limited zone of mixing of hot components. The bottoms of resonators 3 and 4 have holes d1 and d2 for feed of hot components. Holes d1 and d2 may be misaligned. EFFECT: reduced time delay of ignition, enhanced reliability of ignition and expanded range of hydrocarbon-type fuels ignited by the gas-dynamic method. 9 cl, 5 dwg
