SUBSTANCE: information medium 2 has at least one fringe pattern incorporating diffraction structures 9 of microrelief configurations; mentioned information medium when being illuminated by coherent light beam 10 provides for diffraction of light beams 11, 12 visualized on screen. Novelty is that information medium is designed to produce first image in first direction and second one in second direction with angular separation of mentioned first and second directions; mentioned fringe pattern provides for at least bright pixels in first image and at least nonbright pixels in second image; non-bright pixel of second image is comparable with bright pixel of first one. Image obtained due to illumination of medium by coherent light cannot be simulated nor copied using holographic techniques. EFFECT: enhanced protection of information residing on medium. 15 cl, 9 dwg
