FIELD: organometallic compounds, catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst used for synthesis of 1-ethyl-2-(trialkylxylyl)-alumocyclopropanes. The proposed catalyst is synthesized by interaction of cobalt dichloride CoCl2, activating addition of triphenylphosphine Ph3P and ethyl-aluminium dichloride EtAl-Cl2 as a reducing agent taken in the mole ratio = 1:(0.5-1.5):(2-6), respectively.
