FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst used for synthesis of 1,2-bis-(dialkylaluma)-1,2-diphenylethylenes. Invention describes catalyst used for synthesis of 1,2-bic-(dialkylaluma)-1,2-diphenylethylenes synthesized by interaction of cobalt dichloride CoCl2, activating addition as triphenylphosphine Ph3P and dialkylaluminium chloride R2AlCl where R is Et, n-Pr as a reducing agent in the following mole ratio of components: CoCl2:Ph3P:R2AlCl = 1: (1.5-2.5): (2-6), respectively. The yield of 1,2-bis- (dialkylaluma)-1,2-diphenylethylenes is 63-78%. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and availability of catalyst, increased yield of end compounds. 1 tbl, 8 ex
