FIELD: nonferrous hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic production of tin from wastes and its refining. In order to enable regeneration and reuse of tin, stannite electrolyte contains tin chloride, sodium hydroxide, water, and organic surfactant, in particular condensation product of thiourea, polyethylenepolyamine, and formaldehyde. EFFECT: reduced power and materials consumption, and improved quality of tin precipitates.
